Three crews completed the 1998 Resolution rally with but a single minute's penalty. As usual the furtherst cleanest tie decider came into play, but was unable to split Steve Cole/Bob Blows and Mike Biss/Cath Woodman.
The keenly contested novice and beginners classes were won by the the 'beginner' crew of Martin Smith/Gemma Morris. Regular readers will recognise this as Martin's debut at the wheel, being more usually known for his navigational exploits in Ian Mepham's Golf.
As usual John Upham, and his team, put on a very well organised event, using a 180 miles of Hampshire lanes with the usual smattering of white roads and triangles to catch out the unweary.
